1. Driver

• Do not rely on the CD coming with the printer. 

• download it from http://download.dymo.com/dymo/Software/Mac/DLS8Setup.8.5.2.dmg


2. Name

Always name it DYMO LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo. If the printer is shared by Empfang1 and you add it as a printer from another location, the suggested name for that location might be DYMO LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo @ Empfang1 - do NOT accept that and rename it only as DYMO LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo.


3. Consumables.


The two highlighted templates are the label templates to be purchased.

Always put the Terminkärtchen 54 x 85 in the LEFT slot and the Labels 36 x 89 in the RIGHT slot. Pay attention at the correct way to load them. 90% of the problems with the Dymo are connected to incorrect loading of consumables.


4. Eyesoft

All buttons marked “Labels” will print an adhesive label from the right-side slot.


If used from Patient it will have the patient’s data; if used from Physic it will hold the physician’s data or the insurance data, depending on what you’re looking at.
